The short version
AltZ.coach is run by AltZ. We collect as little as we can get away with, we do not sell anything about you, and you can have whatever we hold deleted by sending one email. Analytics stays off until you allow it.
What we collect
- When you use the contact form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, and whatever you write in the message. We keep it so we can reply to you.
- When you sign in: your name, email address and profile picture, as Google gives them to us. Signing in is with Google and nothing else — there is no password for us to hold, and we never see your Google credentials.
- If you submit a testimonial: what you wrote, and the account it came from.
- If you allow analytics: which pages you viewed and roughly where in the world you are, through Google Analytics. This is not linked to your account.
One account across AltZ
Every AltZ site signs you in against the same account, so you are the same person on altz.coach as on altz.training and your course progress follows you. That is deliberate: without it, reading a course on one site and continuing it on another would silently split your progress in two.
The practical consequence is that your account is shared across the sites rather than duplicated, and deleting it deletes it everywhere.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
It is processed by Google, whose infrastructure the sites run on: Firebase and Google Cloud for hosting and storage, Google Authentication for signing in, reCAPTCHA for keeping bots out of the contact form, and Google Analytics if you allow it.
Where it is stored
In the United States. If you are reading this from elsewhere, that is where anything you send us is kept, and where it is processed.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept while they are still useful for replying to you and for our own records. Your account and anything attached to it are kept until you ask us to delete them. Analytics is retained on Google’s default schedule.
Your rights
Wherever you live, and regardless of which law applies to you, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop using it for analytics — which you can do yourself, at any time, from the cookies page.
Email support@altz.biz. We do not charge for any of this and we will not make you create an account to ask.
You can also do the deletion half yourself: the account page has a download of what this site holds about you, and a button asking this site to forget you. That covers this site’s data — your AltZ sign-in is shared across every AltZ site and keeps working. To remove the sign-in itself, everywhere, email the address above.
Children
These sites are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect anything about children. If you believe a child has given us information, email the address above and we will remove it.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit and data is encrypted at rest by Google Cloud. Access to the databases is restricted to the site backends and to the people who run AltZ. No system is perfectly secure, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or what we do with it, we will change the date at the top and, where the change is significant, ask again for any consent that depends on it.
